David Cole, creator and owner of Reposados, discovered his love and talent for the foodservice industry with his first job waiting tables at Pappasitos Cantina in Houston, Texas. After receiving a degree in the industry and spending almost 15 years managing both corporate and private restaurants all over Texas, his dream of owning his own restaurant finally became a reality.

Reposados Mexican Grill opened its doors in June 2004, greeted by a loyal following of customers from the restaurants David had managed before – people who had become friends and were eager to see him succeed on his own. His commitment to quality food and service, and relentless personal attention soon developed a new, larger group of customers who also grew to know David and cheered his success in a location where they had watched other restaurants fail.

Reposados was not to be the only addition to David’s life in 2004, and these same customers and friends also watched and cheered as David’s wife and high school sweetheart, Tammy, announced a pregnancy that grew along with the restaurant’s first year. A year of new beginnings at Reposados was capped off with the birth of David’s son, Holt Michael, in late December 2004.

David and Tammy celebrate and thank God for the gift of little Holt and for a fabulous beginning to David’s career as a restauranteur. They are grateful for the relationships they have developed with customers and friends, and look forward to developing and expanding those relationships, their own family, and the family of restaurants, - sharing that growth with new friends and those who have supported them along the way.
